The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) issues an Aadhaar address validation letter, which can be obtained by completing a form on their website and uploading the necessary documents. Alternatively, you can send your request by post or courier. Once the UIDAI receives your documents, they will verify them and ask for a photograph and attestation from someone who knows you to prove your identity. The UIDAI will validate any document type as long as it is not expired and contains all the required details, and the person presenting the document is the real owner of the document. If you cannot provide any of your documents or if they are rejected, you may be asked to produce a third-party document for verification.
