Aadhaar Card Customer Care Number

The UIDAI provides toll-free numbers for individuals to communicate with the organization. Those seeking answers to their queries or wishing to provide feedback can call the Aadhaar card customer care number 1947, which is available 24/7 every day of the year. This number is managed by the UIDAI. Additionally, most regional offices of the organization have grievance redressal units.

Contact Centre

A Contact Centre has been set up by the UIDAI to handle grievances and queries regarding updating of Aadhaar, Aadhaar enrolment, and several other services. On completion of the enrolment process, an acknowledgement slip is provided with the Enrolment Number (EID) mentioned on it. You will need the EID to approach the UIDAI Contact Centre.

Filing Complaints Online through the Resident Portal

Online complaints can be filed by applicants through the website https://goo.gl/ac84EU.
The form requires the applicant to fill in details such as Enrolment ID, personal information, location, and complaint details.
Updates on the complaint will be sent via email or mobile number.
Complaints can be filed against Aadhaar Letter/PVC Status, Authentication Issue, Enrolment Related, Operator/Enrolment Agency, Portal/Application Issue, and Update Related.
To check the status of a filed complaint, individuals can visit https://goo.gl/eiFf1d and enter the complaint ID and security code.

Post

A grievance can be sent to the UIDAI Regional Offices or Headquarters via post. The grievances are examined and then sent to the respective Regional Office or Concerned Section. However, the Deputy Director must approve of the grievance before it is sent to the Regional Office or Concerned Section. The grievance is then disposed of online by the Concerned Section or Regional Office. Interim replies (if needed) may be provided as well.
