By visiting the official website of UIDAI, users can update their name, gender, date of birth, language, and address online. However, for updating biometric details, mobile number, and other information, users are required to visit an official Aadhaar Enrolment centre.

How to Schedule an Aadhaar Card Appointment?
  •  Access the official website of UIDAI

  • Find the section labeled ‘My Aadhaar’ and click on ‘Schedule an Appointment’

  •  Schedule an appointment at either a UIDAI-run Aadhaar Seva Kendra or a Registrar-run Aadhaar Seva Kendra

  • Choose your desired location for the appointment

  • Click on either ‘Schedule Appointment’ or ‘Manage Appointment’

  •  Provide your mobile number, captcha code, and click on ‘Get OTP’

  •  Verify your identity by submitting the received OTP

  •  Enter your Aadhaar details and any other necessary information

  • Select your preferred date and time for the appointment

  • Once confirmed, you will receive an appointment number

  • Visit the official Aadhaar enrolment center with your appointment number to update your Aadhaar-related information. Additionally, it is essential to link your mobile number to your Aadhaar card to receive OTP for authentication.

  •  Aadhaar Enrolment: No charge

  • Mandatory Biometric update for children (at age 5 and 15 years): No charge

  • Any Biometric update with or without Demographic Update*: Rs 100

  • Only Demographic update* by residents: Rs. 50

  •  Download Aadhaar & Coloured Print: Rs. 30

  •  Residents can choose any Aadhaar Seva Kendra to avail these services.

Process to Cancel or Reschedule Aadhaar Card Appointment
  • Access the official website appointments.uidai.gov.in.

  •  Provide the Token ID received upon scheduling your initial Aadhaar appointment.

  •  Enter the mobile number used during the booking of your original appointment.

  • Select the ‘cancel appointment’ button to proceed with the cancellation.

  •  Upon cancellation, an SMS will be sent to notify you that the appointment associated with the previous token ID has been successfully cancelled.

  •  To reschedule your appointment for your Aadhaar card, you can follow these steps:

  • Go to the official website appointments.uidai.gov.in.

  • Input the Token ID that you received when you initially scheduled your Aadhaar appointment.

  • Provide the mobile number that you used when booking your original appointment.

  • Select the ‘reschedule appointment’ button to proceed with rescheduling.

  • Enter the desired enrolment center and location information, along with the preferred date and time for your appointment.

  • Enter the verification code provided.

  •  Click on the ‘fix appointment’ button to confirm the rescheduled appointment.

  • You will receive an SMS containing all the details of your newly rescheduled appointment.
