Visit TIN-NSDL or UTIITSL Website:
Access the TIN-NSDL or UTIITSL website to initiate the name change in your PAN card.
Fill the Form:
Complete the online form diligently, entering details as per the supporting document proof.
Mention PAN and Validate:
Include your PAN in the form and tick the cell corresponding to your name. Click “Validate” to ensure accuracy.
Submit the Form:
Once confirmed, click “Submit” and proceed to make the payment for processing your request.
Make Payment:
Pay the processing fees through net banking, debit/credit card, cash card, etc.
Download and Print the Form:
After successful payment, download the PAN application form and take a printout.
Affix Photos and Sign:
Attach two passport-sized photographs, sign across them on the form.

Opt for the use of scanned documents or DigiLocker documents with a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for e-KYC. This method provides a secure and paperless way of verifying the applicant’s identity.
Marriage Certificate or Marriage Invitation Card:
Submit a copy of the marriage certificate issued by the relevant authority or a marriage invitation card.
Publication of Name Change in the Official Gazette:
Furnish a copy of the official gazette publication where the name change due to marriage is documented.
Copy of Passport Showing Husband’s Name:
Provide a copy of the passport that displays the husband’s name. This serves as a valid document for updating the PAN card.
Certificate Issued by a Gazetted Officer (for Change in Applicant’s Name):
