To apply for a PAN card within the country, applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs 101. This fee includes a processing fee of Rs 86 and Goods & Service tax of 18.00%. In the past, there have been inconsistencies in the cost of PAN processing, but the government has now established a uniform fee for all applications with a communication address within the country. However, the fee may vary depending on the payment method chosen by the applicant.
1. PAN Centres are authorized to process new PAN requests and applications for changes in existing PAN.
2. To locate a PAN Centre near you, visit the Official NSDL Website.
3. Go to the ‘TIN FACILITATION CENTERS’ page and click on Search PAN Centre.
4. Select your state and city from the menu to view a list of all PAN Centres in your area.
5. The list will include the TIN FC Code, contact person’s name, complete address, telephone and fax number, and email ID of each PAN Centre.
