Track PAN Card Status

• Step 1:
  Visit the “Track your PAN/TAN Application Status” page directly by clicking on https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pantan/StatusTrack.html.
  
  
• Step 2:
  Choose “PAN-New/Change Request” from the “Application Type” section.
  
  
• Step 3:
  Input your 15-digit acknowledgement number into the designated field.
  
  
• Step 4:
  Validate your PAN card application status by entering the captcha code provided.
  
  
• Step 5:
  Click on the “Submit” button to promptly view your NSDL PAN Card status on your screen.

• Navigate to https://www.trackpan.utiitsl.com/PANONLINE/#forward.
  
  
• Input your application coupon number or PAN.
  
  
• Enter your Date of Birth/Incorporation/Agreement, etc., and the captcha code.
  
  
•  Click on the “Submit” button, and your PAN card status will be displayed on the screen.

•  Visit the official website of Income Tax E-Filing at https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/
  
  
•  Under the section “Quick Links,” select ‘Verify your PAN.’
  
  
• Enter details such as your PAN, full name, date of birth, and mobile number. Click on “Continue.”
  
  
•  Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on “Validate.”
  
  

Upon completion, a new page will appear on the screen confirming that “Your PAN is Active, and the details are matching with the PAN Database.”

To inquire about the status of your PAN card application via SMS, especially if you applied through TIN-NSDL (now Protean), follow the steps outlined below. Please note that this method is applicable after a waiting period of 3 days from the submission of the application form:

• Compose an SMS with the text: “NSDLPAN <15-digit Acknowledgement Number.”
  
  
• Send the SMS to the designated number “57575.”
  
  
• Shortly thereafter, you will receive an SMS providing information on your PAN card status.
