According to data available from the Udyam portal, the platform launched in 2020 to simplify the registration process for micro, small, and medium enterprises has now reached a total of 1.73 crore registered enterprises as of Wednesday. It is important to note that obtaining the Udyam certificate is mandatory for businesses seeking to benefit from various schemes offered by the MSME ministry, including the credit guarantee scheme, public procurement policy, Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme, MSME Champion scheme, and more. The Udyam portal provides an option for registered enterprises to modify or update their Udyam certificate details and retrieve their registration number in case of loss, which may be unfamiliar to some.

Government Tenders and Departments can waive Safety Deposit for their transactions.
Patent Registration Subsidy is accessible for interested parties.
Loans to the Bank can receive Interest rate Discounts.
Banks offer quick Mortgages and Business Loans.
MSME and SSI can reserve Goods for exclusive Production, with 1 percent Interest rate exemption on Overdraft.

Guidance regarding Update Udyam Certificate Online

The name will become permanent once the registration process is completed, and it will not be possible to alter it thereafter.
After modification, individuals will not have the option to update their Aadhar card number.
It will not be feasible for the applicant to modify the district or state details in the registration form.
The PAN number will only be taken into account for adjustment in exceptional circumstances.
Once the registration is finalized, the name cannot be changed.
